It has been moved up one week because of the Memorial Day weekend. This meeting has been approved to 3.5 hours of Nursing Home Administrator Continuing Education Credits. \nLong Term Care members have priority registration for this meeting. Unfilled space will be opened to Home Health and Hospice members at a future date. \nThis meeting has two primary components. The first hour will be dedicated to a Stop-The-Bleed training class. Each facility that attends the training will receive a North American Rescue\, Intermediate Stop-The-Bleed Kit. It would be beneficial if a training coordinator attended on behalf of your facility so your staff could be trained in the use of the kit. \nThe balance of our time will be a presentation by Dr. Kenneth L. Wolf on Victim Avoidance / Active Assailant Survival. Dr. Wolf consults on Work Place Violence Prevention and has a vast amount of knowledge on the subject. The presentation will provide great insight into the subject.
